Artist Bio

" For me painting is as necessary as breathing. Like breathing it is a pleasure, but it is much more; it is Life.
My greatest influence is not Van Gogh, Monet, deKooning or Mrichael Lester but the Creator. In nature he has taught us that nothing lives unto itself. The tress, rivers and sea which I paint all receive to give. The needs of others afford me much opportunity to practice this law oflife. Without this giving and expressing, my life would be a stagnant pool.
The whole process of inspiration is as difficult to explain as how the wind blows, yet the effects may be felt. The coalesce of lines, colour and texture in my work is unified by a strong but fresh relation to my subject."
